The mastery tier is about making decisions that most players never think about at all. Good mechanics get you to 50% of the map. Winning from there requires reading the whole board: knowing which enemy to nuke based on their economy rather than their position, when to build warships vs. when to skip the arms race entirely, which bomb type to use and exactly where to aim it, and how to time a betrayal so the 30-second debuff window becomes a game-ending push rather than a diplomatic disaster. These four lessons are less about learning new mechanics and more about developing the game sense to combine everything you already know into a coherent endgame plan.

1Leaderboard reading & threat assessment
The leaderboard tells you who to nuke, who to ally, and when to betray. Most players just watch the numbers. Advanced players use it to play four moves ahead. The key insight: nuke the team with the best economy, not the one you are currently fighting.

2Warship control, naval power & boat bankingWarships protect your trade income and enable amphibious assaults, but most players overbuild them and start expensive arms races that drain both sides. This lesson covers when to build, when to stop, and the boat banking technique that lets your team slam a coordinated attack.
-
3Strategic bombing: atom vs hydro vs MIRVKnowing you have nukes is not a strategy. Knowing which nuke to use, where to aim it, and how to use bombs to split opponent bases is what separates nuclear players from nuclear button-mashers. This lesson covers full nuclear doctrine including fallout use as a map tool.

4Final push, betrayal timing & closing the gameThe last 20% is a completely different game. Coalition pressure, betrayal windows, and fallout math all converge at once. This lesson covers how to close from 60%+ without triggering a decisive counter-coalition, and when and how to betray.
